COMPANY PROFILE
In 1996 Alumeco began exporting windmill parts that had not been made in aluminium before. These new windlmill parts in aluminium were therefore a great success and the windmill part of Alumeco's business grew significantly. Therefore it was decided to establish a company to handle these windmill parts seperately from Alumeco, and Aluwind was established in 2008.
In 2010 Aluwind set up a subsidiary in the US to improve the service to partners located in this market and explore new opportunities. During the fall of 2011 Aluwind also established a subsidiary in China.
Products
Aluwind produces nacelle components, tower internals and offshore structures in aluminium for the windmill industry.
Offices
The headquarters of Aluwind are located in Ringe, near Odense, Denmark. In addition to this Aluwind has two subsidiaries, one in Castle Rock, Colorado, USA and one in Jiangmen in the Guangdong province of China.
With more than 15 years of experience in designing and produceing alumininum components and structures for wind turbines, Aluwind has 100% focus on the wind energy industry and its requirements for durable and lightweight products, flexible and cost-efficient production, and reliable deliveries.
